A Certificate of Origin is understood to be the name of a region, a specific place or, in exceptional cases a country and is assigned to an agricultural product or a food product:

• Originating in that region, specific place or country,
• Whose quality or characteristics are essentially or exclusively due to the geographical environment with its natural and human factors.
• Whose production, processing and preparation take place in the defined geographical area.
